Pat Jordan, Managing Principal & Executive Recruiter
Pat has spent his entire career recruiting in the San Francisco Bay Area. From his early start with a boutique retained search firm–where his success was contingent on being a quick study and delivering on tight timelines–he led executive searches and a small team of recruiters. They supported anyone from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, with a focus on industrial manufacturing, high tech, and clean tech companies.
Within a few years, he had found success and fulfillment in supporting manufacturing and engineering organizations. While his support was primarily within technical and operations roles, his deeper understanding of the production and project lifecycle gave him insight that he leveraged to succeed in placing candidates in P&L Leadership, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources and Project & Program Management, among others.
For the past decade, he has supported executive leadership within a Fortune 250 organization, filling critical and often confidential leadership roles in all functions. He has built strategic talent communities of high potential candidates with critical skill sets and is an integral partner in all phases of the recruiting lifecycle–from job scope creation, to recruiting, and internal talent management.
The formation of Design for Excellence Talent allows him to apply the full breadth of his experience and the knowledge of “what good looks like”, in building productive and thriving organizations.
